Some more on peer review and how to know what to read.

Brian Earp Twittered this Practical Ethics commentary on Peer-Review this morning, which in part was discussing this proposal for updating how we rate papers.  The issue is not necessarily so much peer review as it is for us researchers to have a reasonable heuristic for determining which research is worth our time, and which is not.

The sheer volume of research is, of course, another issue to consider.
