Replication isn’t everything – or, the subtlety of experimenter expectation.

I’ll put in a little didactic post here too.  Direct replication is great and wonderful. But, sometimes that accidentally replicates an error (kinda like DNA replication), and you have to do a variant to control for it.  As Graham Davey beautifully illustrates in this blog post.
