Two blog-posts on sample-size

Aaaah – summer. And I can catch up!  I have had these two blog posts open in tabs for weeks, because I want to have them linked in my blog. (That way I know I can find them again). From Felix Schön comes, at what sample size does correlations stabilize. And, from Daniel Simons we have nice graphs of effect sizes when samples are drawn from the same underlying distribution (in other words, when the null is true). It is nice to have them in grahps. And, yes, our n-s clearly have been on the very small side.
