Papercore

June 2, 2012

I signed up for Papercore.  The idea behind the site is to collect short summaries of research papers (more than the abstract, less than the entire paper), and thus save others time from having to distill down the main ideas.  (Or save others time from deciding that this wasn’t quite what I wanted anyway).  Sounds like a good idea.  I’m not sure I will be using it much, at least not now (although some of the titles are so appetizing).  The focus is more on physics and related (the appetizing parts were some papers on complexity and self-similarity and all that), and, alas, I have yet to be able to reasonably combine psychology with those aspects.  (Possibly because my brain is limited in what it can pursue.  So much to learn, so little time).
